Afternoon Shift Plate Fabricator

Join Weldco-Beales Manufacturing as a Plate Fabricator/Fitter on the afternoon shift in Barrie, ON. Work with heavy plate steel while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

As a Plate Fabricator/Fitter, you will report to the General Foreman and play a critical role in fabricating heavy equipment attachments. Your key responsibilities include reading blueprints, planning tasks, and assembling metal sections according to specifications. We prioritize safety and a clean work environment while fostering your professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with heavy plate steel and fabrication processes

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately

• Plan task sequences and assemble components

• Fabricate steel weldments using measuring instruments

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of steel machining tools and safety practices

• CWB certification is an asset

• Red Seal Fitter or Welder is a plus

• Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes preferred
