We’re currently seeking 50 motivated Manufacturing Associates to join our Assembly and Production Departments. In this hands‑on role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our Operations team. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals, work with cutting‑edge technology, and contribute to the continued success of ELCAN. • Learn to handle optics, read blueprints, and use measuring equipment.
• Assemble products according to provided specifications.
• Utilize calibrated equipment as part of the manufacturing process.
• Follow workflow instructions from Supervision/Group Leads.
• Use good visual acuity to identify imperfections in parts or assemblies.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform basic data entry and computer work.
• Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture.

• Hands‑on experience with optical assembly and precision manufacturing processes.
• Practical application of blueprints and technical documentation.
• Effective use of calibrated tools and measuring equipment.
• Strategies for problem‑solving in a manufacturing environment.
• Best practices for maintaining a safe, efficient, and positive workplace.

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy and confidence using technology.
• Ability to understand technical issues and make sound decisions.
• Comfortable working with the metric system.

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Self‑motivated with a consistently positive attitude.
• Capable of working day or afternoon shifts and remaining seated or standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with maintaining safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.
