Sewing Machine Operator Plant

Join the Barrie location in Ontario as a Sewing Machine Operator focused on nylon sling production.

Your role will include sewing, inspecting, and training fellow employees.

In this position, the Sewing Machine Operator will cut, sew, and prepare nylon slings as per order specifications. Responsibilities include attaching labels and inspecting slings before dispatching them. You'll also assist in training new recruits and ensuring all operations comply with safety and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and assemble nylon slings

• Attach necessary accessories to the products

• Conduct thorough inspections prior to shipping

• Participate in training sessions for new staff

• Carry out inventory management tasks

Requirements:

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math operations

• Skilled in both imperial and metric measurements

• Must know how to use vernier and measuring tools
