Skilled Welder Fitter Afternoon Shift

We seek experienced Welder/Fitters to enhance our Barrie aftermarket production team. This role demands proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and operating GMAW Welding machines, aligning with our commitment to quality and safety. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in large structural weldments and have a positive, detail-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret detailed 3rd angle projection drawings accurately

• Fit and weld according to engineering specifications

• Operate Miller GMAW Welding Machines effectively

• Conduct daily maintenance checks on equipment

• Implement 5S housekeeping principles diligently

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience with GMAW in production

• CWB Certification under CSA 47.1 preferred

• Experience with blueprint reading and welding theory

• Crane Operator training is an asset

• Willingness to cross-train in other departments
