CNC Machinist Afternoon Shift

Mac Lean Engineering is seeking skilled CNC Machinists to enhance our aftermarket production team. This challenging position involves setting up and operating CNC machines, including Fanuc-based systems, while ensuring high precision on metal and plastic components. You will perform tasks from setup to inspection, contributing to the production of parts for heavy mobile mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate CNC machines including Haas, Okuma, and Daewoo

• Inspect components according to engineering drawings

• Perform daily maintenance checks and document equipment concerns

• Identify improvement opportunities and implement 5S principles

• Cross-train in various work centres as needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience as a Machinist or related trade

• Crane Operator training and certification

• Proficiency with Fanuc controls and CNC operations

• Capability for manual machining setups

• COQ as a machinist is an asset
