Read work orders, handle metal products, and support safe production as a General Labourer at Weldco-Beales Manufacturing. This position requires practical tool skills.
Reporting to the General Foreman, the General Labourer performs general labour and maintenance work. You will transport materials, sort metal parts, grind edges, and maintain work areas. The position supports heavy equipment attachment manufacturing for construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, and resource industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret work orders
- Transport raw materials and finished metal products
- Sort metal sheets, parts, scrap metal, and materials
- Grind and deburr sharp edges using hand tools
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment
- Minimum six months of related experience
- Knowledge of general safety practices
- General knowledge of basic tools and equipment
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 kilograms
- Clear communication, cooperation, and sound judgment
