Industrial Production Operator Nanticoke

Operate industrial equipment at Stelco’s Nanticoke facility while supporting safe production, material handling, and processing across producing units.

This permanent Production Operator role reports to the Area Manager in a heavy industrial environment. You will perform general labour, operate overhead cranes, forklifts, tractors, and heavy equipment, and follow established safety procedures. The position requires physical ability, industrial experience, and readiness for rotating shifts.

• Support operations across the plant’s producing units
• Handle, transport, and process products and materials
• Perform shoveling, lifting, climbing, and small-space work
• Operate cranes, forklifts, tractors, and heavy equipment
• Follow safety procedures and wear required protective equipment

• At least two years’ industrial or manufacturing experience
• High school diploma or post-secondary degree
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle
• Ability to work hot, cold, dirty, wet, dusty, or noisy areas
• Availability for rotating eight- and twelve-hour shifts
