NURSING GRADUATE GUARANTEE (NGG) – Registered Nurse

Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) is excited to invite 鄭 nursing graduates and Internationally Educated Nurses (IEN) to join our exceptional team of nurses!

Start your nursing career on the right-path with extended orientation, training & support, and secure full-time employment within 12 months!

The Nursing Graduate Guarantee (NGG) program is a Ministry of Health (MOH) funded program that supports new nursing graduates, Registered Nurses (RN) and Registered Practical Nurses (RPN), transition into practice by providing them with 12 weeks (450 hours) of full-time employment above staffing complement. Once complete, participating nurses will apply to vacancies within the organization in order to be offered full-time employment or the equivalent of full-time hours as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) within 12 months of their start date.

As a participant of the NGG program at RVH, you will have access to:

  • RVH's comprehensive orientation program, including General Hospital Orientation, Interprofessional Orientation and Unit-specific Orientation
  • 12 weeks with a Nurse Preceptor that works directly with you to support your NGG transition into practice period and build on your prior education and experience
  • RVH's Nursing Mentorship Program where you're paired with an experienced nurse who provides support and guidance throughout your first year of nursing, and workshops with other new nurses題

  • Rehab/ALC: Integrated Stroke & Rehabilitation, Transitional Care, Rotary, Specialized Seniors
