Registered Nurse - ICU - Temporary Part-Time
Collingwood General & Marine Hospital (CGMH) is hiring a Registered Nurse for a temporary, part‑time ICU role on a 12‑hour shift basis, with an approximate 1‑year term.
Scope of Practice & Duties
Provide assessment, treatment, and care for medical, surgical, chronic, pediatric, obstetrical, rehabilitative, and palliative patients, including complex cases with unpredictable outcomes.
Adhere to the standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Support patient health promotion through therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative means.
Carry out all essential duties of the position, including physical demands such as moving and transferring patients.
Qualifications
Current certificate of registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Completion of an accredited Critical Care Certification program.
Current BCLS and ACLS certification.
Coronary Care Level 1 (or equivalent) essential.
Minimum two years acute care nursing experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages are an asset.
Basic computer skills.
Demonstrated excellent attendance and performance record.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Capacity to work independently and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Compensation
Wage : $41.15 to $58.98 per hour plus applicable shift premiums for evenings, nights and weekends.
