As a Nurse specializing in Wound Ostomy and Continence care, you will conduct holistic assessments and work closely with interprofessional teams to design impactful care strategies.
Your role is pivotal in delivering mentorship and educational resources, aimed at empowering other healthcare professionals in effective wound care management. You will also participate in quality monitoring and research to drive clinical excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive assessments for wound and ostomy patients
• Formulate collaborative care plans with healthcare teams
• Provide essential mentorship and educational support
• Lead quality monitoring and improvement initiatives
• Contribute to research projects and educational tools
Requirements:
• Completion of NSWOCC WOC-EP program is essential
• Active RN license with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Flexibility in advancing wound care practices
• Desired CNA certification WOCC(C)
• Strong communication and teaching aptitude
