Registered Practical Nurse; RPN GTUBE

We have 2 RPN vacancy for a community client in Barrie area. The shifts are daytime. MUST be available every other weekend starting ASAP. The RPN is expected to be experienced in GTUBE medication administration and feeding. This is a must.

• Conducting assessments and reassessments
• Developing, monitoring, and updating plans of care, as assigned
• Providing medication support and administration
• Responding to all emergency situations
• Completing reports and communicating with the family about any changes in care
• Meeting the Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario at all times
• All other duties, as assigned

• Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
• Vulnerable sector screenand 2 satisfactory professional references
• Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
• GTUBE med experienced, comfortable with managing emergencies.
• Must have a valid license and reliable vehicle
• Effective time management skills to work under specified time constraints and in accordance with job routines, while observing policies and procedures as well as applicable work standards and safety regulations
