Nurse Practitioner

Position: Nurse Practitioner at Town of Wasaga Beach
Location: Wasaga Beach

Elevate your nursing practice as a Nurse Practitioner at the Town of Wasaga Beach’s After-Hours Medical Clinic. Engage with patients and families while delivering exemplary care in a supportive team environment.

This role, available as a casual 13-month contract, focuses on comprehensive health management for patients in the after-hours clinic. Nurse Practitioners will be accountable for diagnosing and treating illnesses through a holistic model of care, in partnership with clinic professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver health assessments and manage treatment plans

• Collaborate with physicians and health staff

• Interpret diagnostic tests and order screenings

• Provide patient education and community support

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with NP Diploma

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Preferably 2-3 years clinical experience as an NP

• CPR certification required (BLS-C)

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Contribute to enhancing community health standards as Nurse Practitioner at the Town of Wasaga Beach.
