As a Clinic Nurse, you will develop and provide a range of harm reduction services based on a patient-centered model. The role requires a registered nurse with a passion for helping individuals overcome addiction, showcasing excellent communication skills in a busy clinic environment. Your efforts will significantly impact the lives of patients and their families while working cohesively within a dedicated healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients
• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to create treatment plans
• Perform ECGs, drug screenings, and manage vital signs
• Document patient information accurately in Electronic Medical Records
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient needs
Requirements:
• Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Experience in addiction treatment is preferred
• Current registration with the College of Nurses in Ontario
• Recent Criminal Reference Check required
• First Aid and CPR Certification necessary
