As a Specialized Nurse, you will focus on holistic assessments of clients facing complex ostomy and wound conditions. This role involves collaboration with interprofessional teams to create and evaluate personalized care plans. You will also mentor nursing staff, lead quality improvement initiatives, and engage in impactful research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients with complex ostomy and wound conditions
• Create and evaluate interdisciplinary care plans
• Mentor and educate nursing staff on best practices
• Lead quality improvement projects effectively
• Engage in research initiatives and conferences
Requirements:
• NSWOCC WOC-EP program completion required
• Valid RN license in Ontario
• Commitment to continuous education and mentorship
• Preferred CNA credential WOCC(C)
• Proficient in communication and teaching
