Join Closing the Gap as a NSWOC Visiting Nurse in Gravenhurst, providing essential care to community clients. This full-time role emphasizes wound care expertise and flexibility in service delivery.
As a NSWOC Visiting Nurse (RN or RPN), you'll leverage your extensive experience to manage wound care and support a variety of patients in their homes. You'll interact with the Health Care Team for coordinated services and engage with students as necessary.
Your role includes crafting client reports, ordering medical supplies, and ensuring both client and personal safety through careful oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive wound care management to clients
• Administer IV therapies and manage CVAD procedures
• Coordinate with HCCSS for client services
• Create detailed reports and updates for optimum care
• Travel within the community to deliver patient support
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) certification
• Two years of clinical or community nursing experience
• Standard First Aid & CPR/AED certification
• Strong communication skills for effective relationship building
• Ability to work weekends and on-call shifts
