Assertive Community Treatment Nurse in Simcoe

Join the CMHA Simcoe County team as a Registered Practical Nurse in Assertive Community Treatment in Barrie, ON. Drive impactful mental health services while supporting community recovery efforts.

Seeking an RPN to provide comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions under ACTT model guidelines. You will leverage your psychiatric nursing experience in collaborative, client-centered care to manage medication and support daily living skills for clients.

Your role will involve assessing client needs while promoting mental health education within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care per RPN scope and standards

• Monitor lab results and transcribe physician orders

• Participate in team reviews for risk management

• Assist with daily living activities and housing support

• Contribute to continuous development of care protocols

Requirements:

• At least three years of psychiatric nursing experience

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license

• Vulnerable Sector Check submission in good standing

• Fluency in a second language is a plus
