Position: Registered Practical Nurse, GraceMed Surgical Team
Be part of Grace Med Barrie’s surgical team as an Operating Room Nurse (RPN). This part-time, casual role requires a dedicated professional to enhance patient experiences and outcomes.

The Operating Room Nurse will work closely with a skilled surgical team to provide safe and efficient perioperative care. Your responsibilities encompass assisting during surgeries and ensuring top-notch sterilization practices. A weekday schedule facilitates balanced work-life integration, focusing on delivering superior patient care without overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgeries

• Provide direct nursing during plastic and reconstructive operations

• Monitor patient conditions and document findings precisely

• Uphold strict infection control practices

• Support patient recovery and surgical readiness

Requirements:

• Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

• BLS certification with strong assessment skills

• Ability to remain focused in a dynamic surgical atmosphere

• Flexible weekday availability with casual shifts

• Previous operating room or plastic surgery experience preferred
