This role establishes a relief/stand-by staff list at Plan A, where nurses support chronically short-staffed long-term care homes. You'll manage healthcare teams, provide wound care, and ensure seniors receive necessary care. Your expertise greatly impacts residents' quality of life while reducing burnout among healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage healthcare team duties at diverse facilities
• Provide wound care and assessments to residents
• Communicate site-specific responsibilities during orientation
• Work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, and nights
• Ensure adherence to CNO scope of practice
Requirements:
• Registered and in good standing with CNO
• Minimum one year of paid nursing experience
• Excellent attendance and punctuality record
• Flexibility to travel and work different shifts
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required
