GBGH Dialysis Nurse – Patient Care Focus

Contribute to excellent healthcare as a Dialysis Nurse at Georgian Bay General Hospital. Focus on providing top-notch care to patients with chronic kidney disease during hemodialysis treatments.

As a key member of our Dialysis Unit, you will provide individualized support to patients requiring hemodialysis. This role involves working closely with the interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and foster a caring environment. Your nursing experience will directly impact the lives of patients in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized hemodialysis care to patients

• Engage in patient monitoring and health assessment

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal care

• Educate patients regarding their dialysis process

• Maintain an organized and supportive care environment

Requirements:

• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• 1+ years of hemodialysis nursing experience

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support

• Strong critical thinking and patient advocacy skills

• 3-5 years of nursing experience in acute care preferred
