Join the Ontario Addiction Treatment Centre as a Registered Nurse, delivering vital addiction support in a part-time capacity. Focus on patient interaction, medication management, and personalized healthcare services in a collaborative setting.
This part-time role allows you to work 18 hours weekly, directly influencing the health and well-being of patients. You’ll administer treatments, perform vital sign assessments, and guide patients through their recovery journey while ensuring compliance with medical protocols. Key Responsibilities:
• Administer methadone, suboxone, and narcotics as delegated
• Collaborate with healthcare team members on patient plans
• Supervise urine drug screenings and perform ECGs
• Ensure thorough documentation within Electronic Medical Records
• Schedule and manage patient assessments and data
Requirements:
• Completed nursing diploma or BSN
• Prior experience in addiction treatment preferred
• Active CNO membership required
• CPR and First Aid certifications current
• Knowledge of Harm Reduction principles sought
