In this permanent position at CATC, the Clinic Nurse will focus on delivering harm reduction strategies and supportive treatment modalities. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, alongside experience in addiction treatment. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes in a busy clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications as directed by licensed Physicians
• Perform ECGs, venipuncture, and supervise urine drug screenings
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for patient treatment plans
• Communicate medical changes and emergencies to the Physician
• Manage patient information in Electronic Medical Records
Requirements:
• Diploma in Practical Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Previous addiction treatment experience preferred
• Good standing with the College of Nurses in Ontario
• Yearly CNO Quality Assurance certification
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification
