Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. This role requires a commitment to ethical nursing practices and the ability to assess and respond to diverse patient needs. You will be an essential member of the interdisciplinary team, focusing on delivering effective and patient-centered care that enhances well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide safe, competent, and ethical nursing care
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and conditions
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain professional competence and course compliance
Requirements:
• Current CNO registration in good standing
• 2-5 years in Emergency/Acute care nursing
• Basic Life Support (B.L.S.) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (A.C.L.S.) certifications
• Experience with emotional support and crisis management
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
