Step into a fulfilling role as a Registered Nurse in Obstetrics at MAHC, based in Bracebridge, Ontario. This position encompasses providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns.
At MAHC, you will work at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital and engage in low-risk obstetrical services. Candidates must have current registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario and at least two years in acute nursing practice. The role demands flexibility, as shifts may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends. A passion for maternal health and supporting new families is essential in this impactful position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver quality care during labor and postpartum
• Support patient education and breastfeeding initiatives
• Adapt to various shifts as required by the department
• Maintain records in compliance with hospital standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 2 years experience in acute medical/surgical nursing
• 1-2 years in obstetrics preferred
• BLS and IV certification necessary
• Provide immunization proof and complete criminal checks
