The Clinical Nurse Specialist will support the NSM Specialized Geriatric Services Program at Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care. Applicants are sought to lead clinical best practices, provide consultative support, and mentor interdisciplinary teams. This involves enhancing care quality, conducting research, and implementing advanced clinical service models for older adults and their caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement advanced nursing competencies in clinical practice
• Lead the development and evaluation of clinical services
• Mentor interprofessional teams in geriatrics
• Promote research and quality improvement initiatives
• Build collaborative relationships across health care systems
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field
• Certification in Gerontology or Geriatrics
• Minimum 5 years of experience with older adults
• Valid Ontario driver’s license and operational vehicle
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
