As an Oncology Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in the Hudson Regional Cancer Centre, delivering evidence-based care and promoting symptom self-management. Your expertise will focus on outpatient oncology clinics, assisting with patient education, clinical assessments, and innovative care practices. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential to improving patient outcomes and ensuring effective service delivery across various clinical domains.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive clinical care for oncology patients
• Support outpatient clinics and procedures, including biopsies
• Educate patients and families on symptom management
• Participate in the development of practice guidelines
• Engage in clinical research to improve patient care
Requirements:
• Current RN registration in Extended Class
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in oncology
• Master of Science in Nursing required
• Certification in chemotherapy/biotherapy recommended
• Proven leadership and mentorship skills required
