Nexim is seeking a qualified Nurse for the OBS unit, focusing on both Labour and Delivery and postpartum care. Successful candidates will have strong nursing competencies, ensuring compliance with Ontario's College of Nurses standards. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills, combined with 1-2 years of hands-on OBS experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and plan all aspects of resident care

• Deliver standard nursing procedures and document accurately

• Administer medications following legislation guidelines

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff

• Adapt readily to changes in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Current CNO registration in good standing

• Certification in N.R.P. and other relevant courses

• 1-2 years of OBS Labour and Delivery experience

• Completion of B.C.L.S Certification upon hire

• Ability to accommodate on-call and weekend shifts
