Community Nurse; RPN) Tracheostomy

We are seeking an RPN for a community client in Innisfil. The shifts are every other Sunday 1030pm to 730 am Monday .Awake overnight . This assignment requires experience with pediatric tracheostomy care and knowledge of medical technology and equipment. The client has high complex needs and is medical technology dependent.

The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Conduct assessments and reassessment
• Utilize medical technology and equipment such as:g-tube, ventilator, and trach
• Provide medication support and administration
• Complete reports and document and care notes regularly
• Communicate with family and supervisors about any changes in client care
• Meet the Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario at all times
• All other duties, as assigned

Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:

• Current CNO (College of Nurses of Ontario) registration and in good standing
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
• Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months
• Experience with pediatric g-tube, ventilator, and trach is an asset
• Must have a current license and reliable vehicle
