Registered Practical Nurse
Owen Hill Community – Barrie, ON
Rate of Pay: $31.12 Min – $32.80 (As per Collective Agreement)

What You’ll Be Doing
Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician’s orders, the resident plan of care, and within the scope of practice of an RPN/LPN.
Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
Create a welcoming and supportive environment for residents through teamwork and effective communication with staff.
Oversee resident care, including regular communication with residents and their families, and provide guidance to staff.
Supervise the Personal Support Workers/Unregulated team members assigned to the unit.
Handle admission, readmission, and change in status, and provide ongoing assessment to residents.
Who You Are
A Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses.
Experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, and/or senior health industry is an asset.
Good judgement, risk identification skills, and the ability to foster a positive work environment.
Legally eligible to work in Canada or in possession of a valid work permit.
