As an RPN, you'll be crucial to supporting the health and rehabilitation of patients in custody. Your work will involve essential nursing practices, including medication administration and emergency response, all while maintaining a secure and clean environment to meet healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and administer various patient medications
• Monitor patient progress and document health information
• Engage in emergency response and urgent care needs
• Foster collaboration with clinical and correctional staff
• Uphold healthcare policies and standards of practice
Requirements:
• Registered Practical Nurse status with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience with patient assessment and intervention strategies
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with healthcare standards and reporting
• Problem-solving skills to address complex needs
