Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) is a multi-site organization that includes the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Site and the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Site, and together we provide outstanding, integrated care to support people in living their healthiest lives.

MAHC is looking for Registered Nurses to join our team. MAHC provides low-risk obstetrical services that are patient centered at our Level 1 sites.

• Current certificate of registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
• 2 years experience of acute medical/surgical nursing experience
• 1-2 years of relevant labour and delivery nursing, and post partum nursing experience an asset
• IV Certified
• Current BLS
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Regional Pediatric Orientation Program (PALS)
• RNAO Breastfeeding e-learning (or equivalent)

• Staff referral program (Earn up to $1000 for each successful Permanent Part Time and Permanent Full Time new hire you refer to MAHC)
• Enrolment in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)

Location: Multi-site working at both Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) and South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH). South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) located in Bracebridge is the home-site. Applicants must reside within 125km of one of our hospital campuses or be willing to relocate prior to starting.

Hours of Work: Must be available to work shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements per the collective agreement.

• Proof of immunization and vaccination records to the Hospital’s Occupational Health and Safety department

• Satisfactory Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
