This nursing role at MAHC involves working across multiple sites, including Huntsville District Memorial Hospital and South Muskoka Memorial Hospital. Ideal candidates will have experience in medical/surgical settings alongside labor and delivery expertise. Flexibility in scheduling is essential as shifts vary based on departmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient-centered care in obstetrics
• Support families during labor and delivery experiences
• Administer IV medications and treatments
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for improved outcomes
• Document nursing activities and protocols accurately
Requirements:
• Current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum 2 years of acute nursing experience
• Experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred
• Valid BLS and NRP certifications required
• Must reside within 125km of hospital locations or be willing to relocate
