At this time this opportunity is scheduled 12-hour shifts
As the successful applicant, you will do the following:
Assessand monitor critically ill patients.
Provide nursing care and treatments within RN scope of practice.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care.
Deliversupportive, therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative care.
Educate patients and families and promote health and wellness.
Ensure safe, high-quality care in accordance with College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) standards.
What You’ll Bring
Required
Current Certificate of Registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Two (2) years nursing experience in acute care setting
BLS and ACLS
Coronary CareI or willingness to complete within six (6) months
Preferred
Current nursing experience in a critical care setting
Critical Care Nursing Certification
C oronary Care II is preferred
