Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Become a key member of the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre as a part-time Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. Ensure exemplary patient care in a fast-paced environment.

In this Registered Nurse role, you will be responsible for providing emergency care while working alongside a knowledgeable multidisciplinary team. You will need at least one year of experience, along with specific training in coronary care and arrhythmia interpretation. Your expertise will help deliver safe patient care to both adults and children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage patients requiring emergency services

• Work interdependently with diverse healthcare team members

• Uphold the standards set by CNO and RVH policies

• Engage in patient education and emotional support

• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

Requirements:

• Current CNO Certificate of Registration

• One year of emergency nursing experience necessary

• Essential certifications: BCLS, ACLS

• Competence in Arrhythmia interpretation required

• Dedication to quality improvement and patient-focused care
