Support residents who call Aspira Woods Park Community home as a Registered Practical Nurse in permanent unscheduled part-time work.
At Sienna Senior Living, this position provides nursing care focused on residents’ health, safety, comfort, dignity, and overall well-being. You will promote self-care, wellness, adaptation, and abilities while completing required clinical documentation. Strong communication supports follow-up with clients, families, team members, Registered Nurses, and designates.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote resident self-care, self-sufficiency, and wellness
- Provide preventative health education and treat the whole person
- Document accurately and communicate concerns or complaints
- Inform or seek assistance from Registered Nurses or designates
- Perform other assigned duties
- Registered Practical Nurse registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Basic Cardiac Life Support and Medication Administration Certificates
- Minimum one year experience as a Registered Practical Nurse
- Experience in geriatric nursing, healthcare, or rehabilitation
- Legal Canadian work eligibility and successful Vulnerable Sector Check
Use nursing judgment, communication skills, and resident-focused care to support fulfilling daily life at Aspira in Barrie.
