The Opportunity:

Weneed Registered Practical Nurses to join our Overflow team! You want to be partof our team to support CGMH in maintaining capacity with the surge anticipated over the upcoming winter season.

This role allows you to make meaningful relationships, and you will havethe opportunity to develop your skills, while being supported by a great team environment.

You will support the temporary extended care in our Medica/Surgical/Overflow areas and may be assigned to either of the units basedon acuity.

Asthe successful applicant, you will do the following:

• Contributes within the scope of anRPN as a team member in the assessment, treatment, provision of care and health promotion for all patients through supportive, therapeutic, palliative andrehabilitive means while adhering to the standards mandated by the College of Nurses of Ontario.

What You’ll Bring

Required

• Current Certificate of Registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Preferred

• Coronary Care 1 certification an asset
• One yearof applicable nursing experience
• Experience with Meditech Expanse
