Medical Unit Registered Practical Nurse

Support diverse patients and families as a Registered Practical Nurse with CGMH’s Medical department. Permanent full-time employment includes scheduled 12-hour shifts.

As a Medical Registered Practical Nurse, you will develop broad clinical skills through meaningful patient interactions. Your practice will include assessing and evaluating care, using supportive and rehabilitative approaches, and providing compassionate support. You will work collaboratively with CGMH’s interprofessional team to deliver coordinated care.

• Provide compassionate care to patients and families
• Assess patient needs and plan appropriate care
• Implement and evaluate individualized patient care
• Use therapeutic and palliative approaches
• Coordinate safe, high-quality care collaboratively

• College of Nurses registration as an RPN
• Preferred Coronary Care 1 certification
• Preferred applicable nursing experience of one year
• Preferred experience with Meditech Expanse
• Availability for permanent full-time 12-hour shifts

Use RPN registration, patient support, and clinical care approaches to contribute meaningfully within CGMH’s Medical department.
