Casual Registered Practical Nurse

Registered Practical Nurse needed in Barrie for safe medication administration and compassionate resident care at Waterford Barrie Retirement Living.
As a casual Registered Practical Nurse with Sienna Senior Living, you will support residents’ health, safety, and well-being. The position emphasizes medication administration, assessments, documentation, and individualized care plans. You will also guide unregulated care workers within the home.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents
Prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments
Complete assessments, RAPS, and individualized care plans
Document concerns and communicate with residents, families, and teams
Guide, direct, train, and educate unregulated care workers
Requirements:
Current Registered Practical Nurse registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
Minimum one year geriatric nursing, healthcare, or rehabilitation experience
Strong medication administration knowledge and documentation skills
Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
Valid Canadian work eligibility and Vulnerable Sector Check
