As the Nurse Practitioner, you will utilize your specialized knowledge to support cardiac patients, evaluating their treatments and wellness. This advanced practice role requires a collaborative approach with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care across different settings. You'll also engage in educational initiatives and assist in policy formulation aimed at continuous improvement and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Integrate complex information for detailed patient assessments
• Initiate therapies and evaluate their effectiveness
• Collaborate with physicians for accurate diagnosis
• Consult with other professionals and community services
• Take part in quality improvement initiatives regularly
Requirements:
• Current Extended Class registration with Ontario’s College of Nurses
• Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Certification in Adult/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
• 5 years of relevant experience in Cardiac care
• Maintenance of Basic/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
