Registered Practical Nurses in Barrie can provide resident care at Owen Hill Community, using sound nursing practice and effective communication daily.
Reporting to the Director of Care, this critical Sienna Senior Living role supports residents who call the community home. You will deliver nursing and personal care within your RPN/LPN scope, established policies, physician orders, and resident care plans. The position includes ongoing assessment and staff guidance.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care according to resident plans and physician orders
- Deliver excellent nursing and personal care using sound principles
- Communicate regularly with residents and their families
- Guide staff and supervise assigned Personal Support Workers
- Complete admissions, readmissions, and change-in-status assessments
- Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with Ontario College of Nurses
- Good judgement and ability to identify risks
- Ability to foster a positive work environment
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada or valid work permit
- Successful Vulnerable Sector or applicable Criminal Record Check
