Become a Wildlife Technician focused on repair and wildlife exclusion. This role requires a construction background for safely managing wildlife and completing necessary structural work in various environments.
As a Wildlife Technician, your primary tasks will include inspecting for wildlife damage, removing pests humanely, and executing structural repairs such as roof patching. You will also be responsible for educating homeowners about wildlife prevention. This hands-on role requires physical stamina and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect buildings for wildlife entry and nesting
• Conduct humane wildlife removal and exclusion work
• Perform repairs on roofs, chimneys, and soffits
• Set and manage traps according to regulations
• Maintain clear service records and customer communication
Requirements:
• Proven experience in construction or general contracting
• Knowledge in wildlife control is a valuable asset
• Ability to work in diverse outdoor conditions
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
