Position: Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Location: Midhurst

Baywood Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience to join our dedicated team. As an AAHA-accredited companion animal hospital, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care while fostering a supportive and collaborative workplace.

What You'll Do
  • Assist veterinarians with medical appointments, surgery, and dentistry.
  • Perform anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery.
  • Collect and process laboratory samples.
  • Take and interpret diagnostic radiographs.
  • Administer medications and treatments.
  • Educate clients on preventative care, nutrition, and post-treatment instructions.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with veterinarians and support staff in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in good standing with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians (OAVT).
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a companion animal practice.
  • Strong anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance skills.
  • Excellent communication and client service abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for animal care.
