Overview

The Quality Leader supports the operation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001, using data-driven decision making, assurance, and visible leadership. This role focuses on quality monitoring, documentation, audits, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements, with mentorship and development toward more advanced quality responsibilities. The objective of the Quality Leader role is to establish compliance as the baseline and foster a strong culture of continual improvement as the long-term objective.

tasks
  • Quality Management
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 and internal standards.
  • Governance provide quality leadership and actively engage the management team to ensure ownership, accountability, and alignment with quality objectives.
  • Produce quality reports: review data and present according to business schedules, specifically month-end reporting.
  • Drive the internal audit program, inspections, and quality checks to identify non-conformances.
  • Manage and lead non-conformance reporting via root-cause analysis, containment and corrective action plan and track progress, ensuring resolution.
  • Work closely with customer services, production, and engineering teams to address quality issues.
  • Assist with supplier quality activities, including incoming material inspections and documentation.
  • Support non-conformance tracking, corrective action follow-up, and record maintenance.
  • Maintains calibration of equipment, gauges and test equipment.
  • Training & Documentation
  • Assist in developing and maintaining quality procedures, work instructions, and records.
  • Support quality-related training sessions and employee awareness initiatives.
  • Ensure quality documentation is current, controlled, and accessible.
  • Ongoing training and assistance from local and corporate teams, the quality leader will work with Franke quality culture as well as corporate objectives
  • Compliance & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate quality records related to audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Generate quality metrics and reports for daily CIC team review.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO and all other applicable quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international standards and advise management accordingly with a significant focus on Environmental legislation
  • Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at process efficiency and defect reduction.
  • Stay informed on quality best practices and evolving standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality and operational excellence.
  • Liaison with customer auditors and product approval officers as well as North American qualification processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
  • Interest in pursuing or already obtained quality certifications (e.g., ISO 9001 internal auditor)
  • Experience with quality audits, quality control, quality inspection, and quality assurance processes within manufacturing environments.
