In this regular full-time role, you will lead key initiatives such as the Customer Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and oversee the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) standards. Your background will help resolve quality concerns during product launches, ensuring all automotive components meet high standards. Work collaboratively within a diverse team to enhance product performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Approve and track Customer PPAP to align with deadlines
• Manage and participate in pre-production model support
• Lead quality-related investigations and 8D responses
• Develop and maintain receiving inspection instructions
• Coordinate internal and supplier drawing reviews
Requirements:
• Completion of a community college diploma or certificate
• 3-5 years of relevant quality experience in automotive
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles preferred
• ASQC CQE preferred for qualified candidates
• Experience with Tier I automotive firms is desirable
