Position: Experienced CMM Metrology Technician Wanted
Location: Midland

Join our innovative team in Midland, Ontario as a CMM Metrology Technician, focusing on quality assurance in mechanical and optical measurements. Bring your expertise to a growing industry.

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor of Mechanical Production, your primary duties will involve the setup and operation of CMM machines for accurate inspections. You will also manage CMM programs and collaborate with other team members to ensure adherence to quality standards and facilitate production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance through dimensional inspections of components

• Evaluate and document inspection results per established specifications

• Maintain CMM programs, ensuring accurate revisions

• Assist with preparation of First Article Inspection reports (AS9102)

• Carry out preventive maintenance on measuring equipment

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar field

• A strong foundation in GD&T and interpretation of engineering drawings

• Proven hands-on experience operating CMM equipment

• Exceptional attention to detail and protocol following

• Proficiency in CMM software and MS Office applications
