Join a dedicated team in Collingwood as a Quality Engineer specializing in Statistical Process Control and root cause analysis. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance product quality within our production environment.
As a Quality Engineer, you will lead quality assurance efforts and improve processes in our automotive-focused production setting. Key responsibilities include managing SPC programs, conducting root cause investigations, and delivering essential training on quality methodologies. Your work will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and enhance SPC initiatives for product quality
• Lead root cause investigations using 8D and Fishbone tools
• Deliver training on SPC methods to teams
• Drive corrective actions for nonconformities in processes
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
Requirements:
• University degree in Engineering
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of SPC and quality tools
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Minitab
Your expertise in quality assurance will be instrumental in maintaining high standards in our production processes.
