Junior QA​/QC Manager – Global Food Manufacturer

Position: Junior QA/QC Manager – Global Food Manufacturer (35762)
We are seeking a hands-on  Junior   QA/QC Manager  to lead and continuously improve food safety and quality systems at our brand-new manufacturing facility in Barrie, ON. This role is ideal for a QA professional ready to take ownership of site-level quality programs and step into (or further develop) a leadership position.
Own and lead HACCP-based food safety and quality programs across the site
Ensure compliance with GMPs, CFIA/SFCR, and audit standards (e.g., SQF/BRCGS)
Oversee and support daily QA/QC activities on the production floor to ensure consistent execution
Lead investigations into non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints; drive effective CAPA
Manage audit readiness and support internal and external audits
Maintain and enhance quality systems, documentation, and SOPs
Partner cross-functionally (Production, Sanitation, etc.) to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement
Provide training, coaching, and technical guidance as the QA/QC function expands
Other duties as assigned
3–4+ years of QA/QC experience in food manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety standards
Experience supporting audits (SQF/BRCGS is an asset)
Solid root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
Some leadership or supervisory experience (formal or informal) preferred
