In this permanent full-time role, you will oversee daily QA/QC team activities while developing and maintaining HACCP plans and compliance with Canadian and US regulations. A minimum of five years in QA/QC, including two in management, is required to drive continuous improvement and manage audits effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support QA/QC daily operations across shifts
• Develop and implement HACCP plans and food safety programs
• Manage internal and external audits ensuring readiness
• Investigate quality incidents and enforce regulatory policies
• Provide training and feedback to QA/QC staff
Requirements:
• 5+ years QA/QC experience in food manufacturing
• HACCP certification required; PCQI preferred
• Strong knowledge of GFSI standards and GMPs
• Proficient in corrective action planning and root cause analysis
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
