Join our team as an Archaeological Field Supervisor and lead your field operations in Ontario. Apply your expertise in archaeological practices and ensure project success through effective supervision.
You will need at least four years of experience along with a Professional or Applied Research class license to qualify for this role. Supervising field teams, you’ll uphold health and safety standards while maintaining high-quality work in challenging conditions. Communication and teamwork are vital as you coordinate with office staff to manage project workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise teams conducting archaeological assessments
• Ensure compliance with safety and MCM guidelines
• Operate GPS and Total Station technology
• Communicate field discoveries and strategies effectively
• Maintain detailed records of fieldwork activities
Requirements:
• Diploma/Certificate with 4+ years of experience
• Valid Ontario driver's license required
• Experience in supervising archaeological projects
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultural sensitivity
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in various weather
