Be part of Cronos' innovative team as a Tissue Culture Technician based in Stayner, Ontario. Your focus will be on supporting the tissue culture program through meticulous preparation and monitoring.
In this role at Cronos Group, you will prepare essential media, transplant plantlets, and monitor tissue cultures to ensure they are healthy and compliant with regulatory standards. You will participate in meaningful R&D meetings and be responsible for reporting technical findings. A collaborative and forward-thinking approach is vital for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and sterilize media for tissue culture
• Transplant plantlets effectively
• Address and troubleshoot tissue culture issues
• Maintain comprehensive data and records
• Participate in research discussions and meetings
Requirements:
•
B.Sc. in relevant fields or strong lab work experience
• Experience in tissue culture or related R&D projects
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Fine motor skills for sterile lab work
