WSP invites applications for the role of Archaeology Field Technician II, starting in spring 2026. Engage in all phases of archaeological work from surveying to excavation, and gain expansive fieldwork experience. The position emphasizes teamwork, ethical practices, and safety across various outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead field surveys and participate in site assessments
• Document findings and assist with grid setups
• Mentor junior technicians and provide assistance as needed
• Operate independently and consult supervisors regularly
• Uphold safety and professional standards during fieldwork
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Archaeology or a related field preferred
• Minimum of three field seasons' experience in archaeology
• Valid driver’s license and clean record required
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks outdoors
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
